I’m about to buy a LaMelo Ball Jersey and all things check out as legit, but I noticed something odd. The production label (the small tag with sizing/manufacturing info) doesn’t have a Nike swoosh on it.

It is very rare to find jerseys in Europe and France with the sponsor patch (since, if I understand correctly, it is only sold in the physical shops of the teams and sometimes, occasionally on the NBA website), so I wondered if it was true, which seems to be the case.

Never seen a rep jersey look and feel this good. I wanna put this up for sale on ebay, but wanna be transparent about authenticity.
Looks like they originally priced it too high for $39.99 at a goodwill retail store. So now it ended up at the bins for $1.

In front of you is a Carmelo Anthony jersey from the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan
This jersey was bought straight from the locker room, according to the seller who sold me this jersey
He told me they only added the FIBA Patch before games and that the FIBA Patch wasn’t made for sale publicly
The jersey also came with the Arenas certificate, certifying the authenticity of the jersey while also showing proof where the jersey came from
While it isn’t known whether this is a game worn jersey, one thing I do know for sure: this is at least a game issued jersey, prepared for the entire tournament
Carmelo was the leading scorer for team USA, averaged 19.9 points a game, scored a total of 179 points during the entirety of the tournament. He also finished the entire tournament sixth in scoring
I figure I can just type in their number and name instead of it being personalized

I was researching an article on the Fab Five and found this really interesting article from 1997. It was with Gary Briggs who was the equipment manager with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He then went on to work with the Utah Jazz and sadly passed this year.
What's really interesting is the different jerseys material over the years. When they were nylon jerseys, they would tumble dry the jerseys at half tim, to try and get rid of the wetness. He also mentioned how jerseys smelt differently depending what aftershave was worn.
