Twin Flame Dating Advice

Hello beautiful souls of Reddit,

My twin flame and I started dating a few days ago. We’ve been close for more than half a year now, and we’ve had two periods of no contact throughout the journey. We are currently in a long-distance relationship at the moment as we are from two different countries.

I initiated the first break after she told me she had no romantic intentions with me. It honestly broke me because we had basically been acting like a couple ever since we met during a 2-month program. We only really started getting close during the second half of the program.

The whole connection felt unreal. There were so many synchronicities and coincidences that I genuinely felt like I was living in a simulation or a movie. I figured out the twin flame concept before she did, but I never told her because I wanted her to come to that realization on her own.

We stopped talking for about 2 weeks, and during that time things slowly got better for me. I wasn’t as obsessed with her anymore, and I started regaining myself as an individual.

About a month before she initiated the second break, she told me that she had realized we were twin flames too. Then later, she decided we should take another break for around 2–3 weeks because she felt disconnected from the present and wanted to see if she could regulate her emotions on her own and handle being alone.

After that break, we started getting closer again. Eventually, she confessed that she had developed romantic feelings for me, and we decided to officially become a couple.

Honestly, not much changed because we were already acting like one. I’d say we just became more emotionally open, more serious, and started talking more about the future.

At times, it feels uncomfortable for both of us because neither of us is really used to being loved this deeply or treated so gently.

I just wanted to ask if anyone has advice for twin flame relationships or dating your twin flame. I feel like I’m the divine masculine/chaser and she’s the divine feminine/runner, although sometimes it feels like those roles switch between us.
