My cat goes insane on my girlfriends clothes.
So as the title says my cat goes absolute BONKERS when my girlfriends clothes are on the floor, but only on the floor. My girlfriend can pick her up and cuddle, pet or whatever, but once those clothes, specifically her shirts or even better her bra hit the floor, my cat will start rolling in the shirt, and then start biting it like crazy and start like cat-grabbing-and-kicking it. She'll do the same with the bra but like atleast twice as bad, instant fight mode. Fur sticks to the bra and if you try to take it from her She'll just clamp on hard so that you can literally lift her off the ground by the bra. I have absolutely no idea when this started because it's not like my girlfriend is someone my cat doesn't know. We've been dating for 2 years and she's been at my place pretty regularly so she's no stranger to my cat. My clothes stay unharmed for some reason it's just a super weird obsession of my cat and my girlfriends clothes. What could be the reason for this and how can we make this stop? It's super funny to watch just brain leave the body and some demon take over. I don't think I'm concerned about this behaviour but really who knows. She can't keep ripping up my girlfriends clothes soon there won't be anything left.
Please someone explain this phenomenon.
