Mother's Day weekend power outage killed my entire milk stash — 200oz of liquid gold, gone.

We had a minor power surge/breaker trip two days ago while I was at work. I didn’t think anything of it because the kitchen clock was still on. Well, I just went into the garage to grab a bag of frozen breastmilk for tomorrow, and my heart just... dropped.

The chest freezer outlet tripped. ...I lost over 200oz of 'liquid gold.' That’s weeks of pumping sessions gone. Not to mention at least $400-$500 worth of Costco meat and the meal-prepped lasagnas... I’m looking at a total loss of nearly $800 in groceries alone, but the milk? That's irreplaceable.

It’s not just the money; it’s the time. As a mom, your "free time" is basically non-existent, and seeing all that effort turned into literal trash is a level of grief I wasn't prepared for. What are you using to keep the power running during a trip or outage? Help a mama out!
