As part of my MSc in Forensic and Criminological Psychology at the University of Nottingham, I am conducting a research study exploring parents’ experiences of child contact arrangements after separating from a partner.
I am looking to speak with parents aged 18 or over who have experienced coercive or controlling behaviour from a former partner, and who have been involved in child contact arrangements (formal or informal) following separation, to take part in a confidential interview.
Taking part involves a one-off interview which can last up to one hour, which will take place remotely via Microsoft Teams. Participation is entirely voluntary, and you can choose what you do or do not wish to share. You may also withdraw from the study at any time without giving a reason.
This study has been reviewed and approved by the University of Nottingham Research Ethics Committee.
If you would like to find out more, please contact msxjt11@nottingham.ac.uk Getting in touch does not mean you are committing to take part.
I would be very grateful if this could be shared with anyone who may be interested!
