I'm interested whether a champion that uses gold as a resource could ever be balanced. My take on it is an adc with the following kit.

P - When gaining gold from any source, gain an additional amount equal to 50% and store it in your "money bag." Up to 500 gold can be stored.

Q - While Q is active, each attack gains bonus attack range, deals bonus damage, and consumes 10 gold from your money bag.

W - Throw a damaging projectile at the target enemy that marks them. Empowered auto attacks against the marked target will have their cost reduced by half. Killing a target with this skill doubles the gold gained by your passive.

E - dash a short distance and leave behind a small pouch containing fifty gold from your money bag. The pouch lasts 5 seconds and can be picked up, reducing the cooldown of the skill and refunding its cost. Enemies can step on the pouch to destroy it and gain half of its gold.

R - Consume half of the gold in your money bag to deal damage and stun the target enemy and any adjacent targets. The damage and stun duration scales with the amount of gold consumed.

This champion has a special interface in the shop menu that can add to or collect gold from the bag.

Figuring out the exact numbers and balancing a champ like this would be a nightmare I imagine, but conceptually would something like this ever be able to exist?
