Valuable footage not recoverable from water damaged Neo 2?
Neo 2 crash in salt water, but recovered after a few seconds (I know, its my fault, I shouldnt fly over water etc. Please lets skip the sarcastic shaming). Immediatley took out battery and allowed it to dry without attempting to turn on for about 1 week (once again after reasearching I now understand the additional steps I could have should have done, again my fault). Small amount of visible corrosion at the battery terminal. When I tried to plug it in to retrieve the footage, it does not show up as external drive on my computer. Did attemt to turn on with the battery but no power at all.
Luckily I have a 3rd party aditional replacement warranty that covers it, but they need me to send it in for inspection before replacing.
MY QUESTION: I know disassemblying the drone or sending to a 3rd party data recovery will likely void the warranty. Is there any other possible ways people know of to recover the drone footage? Footage was from our honeymoon travels overseas so pretty desprate. And yes Ive searched the thread and google for any tips but havent come across any.
