I have natural level 7 hair. It's just a little warmer than I like and I'm thinking about going over it with a toner just so it looks a little bit more ashy and matte. Can I use something like a Wella Light Pearl Ash Blonde Toner or White Lady or does the toner have to be much darker? I ask because every time I google it, I keep seeing suggestions for products I know are permanent hair color instead, which is confusing in of itself.

Please keep in mind I only have access to Wella colors (no Sallys or anything) where I live and I would only use a 10 developer so as to not lift it.
