New Favorite Set!
After an abysmal set of blanks that gave essence of beer piss & lawn clippings... 😂 I had a really successful pull and just shelled them yesterday! First time using pinata purple, so here's to hoping they stay beautiful.

Do you just assume that someone will think they're cool and finish them anyways? Do you put them in a completely opaque shell to cover them up? Washi tape? I'm not sure. When I was laying in bed and thinking about dice instead of sleeping, I had magical visions of lightly dusted gold going halfway up the sides and little leaves floating throughout. Needless to say... this was not my plan and I kinda hate them 😂
Just finished inking my first few sets using a round edge mold I got from SilverLite Studio. Tumbled to preserve the round edges and I'm really happy with the finish quality. No issues with raised faces or bubbles.
I need help to understand why this happens and how I can fix it. I'm using angelus sterling silver leather paint (brand was recommended) and the numbers in this mold are deep and relatively thin. I use a syringe to slowly inject color into the numbers, wipe off, they look great. But then they dry... And it looks horrible. So I do it again and a second application doesn't fix it. I've tried putting big blobs on top, letting it dry, then cleaning off and it doesn't look good either. Is the paint too thin? Any metallic brands you recommend instead? Inking has become my least favorite part 😭
