My mom’s always been the one buying me stuff. Doesn’t matter if it’s skincare, food, clothes, or some random thing I mentioned once 3 months ago, she somehow always remembers. Today was the first time I got to do that for her. I got my first salary recently and decided to buy her this Estée Lauder skincare set because she’s into skincare but never really spends money on herself. She’ll happily buy things for everyone else first. When I gave it to her she kept saying “you shouldn’t have spent so much on me” but I could tell she was really happy...

Idk, it just felt nice. For the first time I felt like maybe I’m slowly becoming someone who can give back a little to the person who’s done everything for me.
