When I was a kid, I watched a movie where the main hero had some red marks on one side of his face and neck and he asked some sort of entity to remove that mark from his face. He believed that the entity removed it since he met a girl who started liking him. But in reality, that devil-like entity never removed the mark from his face in the first place, and it was in his head. The girl actually saw his face mark.
