Saw someone post the sale today, wife was ecstatic about the usage of the power station while we camp. Also can't wait to fill this new cart with gardening goodies for her, handle detaches and I can show her how to tow it behind our 80v Lawn Tractor!

After logging 8 hours of use, I wanted to post again with some updated opinions.

Some negatives, steering column immovable, deck removal, and yes, no onboard charging is a negative.

Positives include, passing huge difficulty challenges, the seat is fantastic, tires are great stock, noise is extremely quiet.

I finished another 4 acres of a very rough, pitted, old farm grass field. Took 2 full charges. I dont mine the hour break in between charges, gives me time to rest/eat/small task and right back to it.

Understandably, most people criticize the battery life/price. Cool, go buy what you can afford then. I bought this and its immediately changed our 7-acre homestead for the better. Ive had success with warranties every time I've needed. I have no worry within 3-5 years I will use that to my advantage!

Thanks to the Kobalt community and supporters!

Disclaimer: This is my initial review. I have spent almost a full 4 hours with this mower inside and out, "extreme" terrain, almost waist high farm grasses and overgrown acreage. I have tested on incline. I have used both the included 6x, 6.0 AH 80v and my existing 4x, 2.0 AH 80v incombination to extend battery life. I went through 8 batteries, twice, for a total mowing time of 3.6 hours and just over 2.5 acres.

Overall Initial Review: Kobalt creates an amazing top end to their line of 80v products. I skipped the heavily consumer fronted 40v line 5+ years ago, and went big and never looked back. I would NOT recommend this tractor to anyone that has not already bought into, specifically, the 80v product lineup. This is because the lithium batteries can be interchange and extend sessions or use in multiple tools I own (chainsaw, pole saw, blower, weed eater, tiller). We live on a 6.5 acre homestead and have not had a mower until now, the property was overgrown, full of holes and hills and trees and branches and more. It handled everything remarkably. I was surprised at the consistency of the dual blades and power. The mower is simple and easy to use. With a newborn in the house now, mom needed a rig she could use and I'm happy to report she loves the mower as well. Lots of marketing to females online as well with demo videos and such. I am 6'4 with long legs and arms, I am a tad squished with my knees right below the steering column. Final negative would be the entire purchasing process, financing through Lowes and living on the phone trying not to get transferred to a foreign call center where upper level help is not met. I would gladly discuss this lawn mower with anyone and answer any questions I can. Before purchasing I was shocked to find almost a zero digital footprint on this machine online. This is the start of an honest review and hopefully helping someone else make a great selection with Kobalt.
