Scored these two at the local pawn shop.

I’m a sucker for prs/ltd guitars. They just feel really good in my hands. The a,p needs a good cleaning and has a little cracklings in it. Still sounds really good tho. The clean channel especially. Gonna give it a good scrubbing and spray some contact cleaner on the knobs. Paid $625 otd for both. Did I do good? I think so/

Taking a break feels so amazing

It seems so weird yet amazing to me how taking a break from playing really improves your playing abilities. I’ve played on and off for the past 45 years but mostly off. Never took lessons and never learned solos.

For the last 6 years or so I got back into playing from a really long break. Prob 10 years or more. I played every day for about 5 years then dropped down to maybe 4-5 times a week. I would just noodle and get use to the usual chord changes, barre chords and strumming.

I didn’t try learning anything until about 8 months ago. Started learning a little bit of theory here and there. Well this past couple of weeks I took a break because life just got busy. Just got done playing for an hour and can’t believe how much I’ve improved. I started getting that feeling or ability when stuff just starts to click from practicing what I’ve learned.

So for anyone that’s new or advanced, taking breaks really works wonders. The brain is an amazing tool. Rock on peeps.

I been riding my lbx for the past 6 years in my city. Never had any issues with the cops. Only a couple stopped me before but 1 was to ask about my bike cause he wanted to get one for his nephew. The other just said be careful and have a good day pretty much. There’s a main road where I ride and multiple cops drive past me everyday. The cop shop is right down the street.

Well today, I go to Wendy’s to grab a bite and there’s a cop (younger than me) in the drive thru at Tim hortons. I’m at the speaker waiting to order at Wendy’s and the prick stops next to me to give me the rundown on our bikes but says it’s just a warning this time.

Like wtf dude, can’t even let me order my food then talk to me about it. 10 minutes goes by so I’m like screw it, don’t even wanna order anymore cause I’m pissed. Now I’m not a kid. I’m 52 yrs old and ride respectfully. Mostly in a parking lot that the owners are cool with me to stunt. And when I ride the side streets to get there I pretty much ride slow (under 30 mph.

I think I might go down to the local pd and try and talk with the Sargent or someone who knows the laws for these. We’re all just riding these to have fun right? Why they gotta be pricks about it?

Would a parking lot be considered private property and they wouldn’t be able to do shit about it?

Originally had Kooks 3” lth with 2 flowmaster knockoff mufflers. Had a QTP electric cut out installed and replaced 1 muffler with a flowmaster fx muffler. The electric cut out only cuts 1 muffler cause I didn’t want it to be crazy open header loud.
