Hey guys, I got into dental school recently and will be starting in the fall. I keep reading posts about people regretting going into the field and I’m feeling very uncertain now that it’s all coming together and a little disheartened. A lot of people are saying in dentistry is not what it was and they aren’t making money and what not. Is this because of the student debt or what? I’m blessed to have parents that are well off and will be paying for my schooling. I will graduate with 0 school debt. In my shoes, is dentistry worth it? Should I try and pursue a specialty still? I feel like every career I’ve looked into has people dissuading others from doing what they do.
