Hi yall, I recently got waitlisted from a T10 school that my sister went to and I REALLY wanted to go to. Given that I made this all very clear in my supplemental essays, is it possible that they looked at my application, and were like, "Poor kid will never compare to his sister, let's just waitlist him to be nice"? I got rejected from almost every other top 30 school that I applied to, so I'm doubtful that I'm actually high enough caliber to go to this school. Does this ever actually happen? Please just give it to me straight!!
