How do you stop a destructive dog?

As cute as he is, if he's left alone for even a few seconds, he'll try to destroy something. Anything he can get a hold of. We can't leave anything anywhere within his reach.

We try to get him toys to keep him interested in other things, but it doesn't always work. And I'm not sure how to properly teach him not to mess with anything and everything that's not one of his toys lying around the house. We never had to do that with our other dog.

Any advice?

I really wanted to love Starfield. Open word role-playing games are a comfort of mine, and so I was looking forward to this. I've tried coming back to it several times, and I just have to admit I'm done. The game just feels lifeless and dull. The ship building is cool, but you need to keep playing the game to unlock more ship parts, and it just doesn't feel very engaging.
