Vietnamese Coffee guide
Last November, I traveled to Vietnam, and ever since, I’ve fallen in love with brewing coffee. I even took a coffee-making class in Hoi An. I brought back plenty of coffee along with a phin filter—just enough to get started.
I’m sharing the recipes I learned there, and I hope you give them a try too.
This is the class I took in Hoi An, in case you’re traveling to Vietnam: https://www.airbnb.com/experiences/826474?viralityEntryPoint=2&s=76
And if you’re wondering which Indian beans to use, go for Blue Tokai (pour-over grind) or Third Wave’s Vienna Roast (medium grind) these grind sizes are perfect for phin.
P.S. I don’t have a grinder yet, so I usually get pre-ground coffee.
Cheers, and happy brewing ☕️
