Now rewatching - Highlander. 1986. "From the dawn of time we came; moving silently down through the centuries, living many secret lives, struggling to reach the time of the Gathering; when the few who remain will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among you... until now."

I've seen this movie at least on average twice a year since I rented the VHS during 1987.

I haven't slept a wink all night. The TV has prompted me to this. I've never seen it before! I love the Rocky films though so hey, 44 years after it's release... First Blood. (1982)

I haven't watched an 80s horror for about a week... So, Friday night fun is about to start with TWICE DEAD (1988). Never saw this before. It's on Tubi UK.

Rewatching Fist of Fury. 1972.

Rewatching Bruce's second Martial Arts movie. I thought I'd share some posters.

Reflection. Like the hall of mirrors. To truly know one self is to be completely at ease with absolutely everything about you. Recognition of every thought, every movement. Bruce was spiritual and material. Not shifting from one to the other. But simultaneously existing in two planes.

If anyone wants to proclaim that this man didn't know what he was talking about.... You're wrong.

He was a fighter. A philosopher. A body scientist. He got some things wrong. That's the whole point.

I'll love this man until I die... And I'll forever love my dad for probably unknowingly introducing me at such a young age. It kind of messed things up. I was a karate student at 10 years of age. Fighting tournaments.

Bruce taught me fluidity. To not be rigid. To allow what comes, and pretty much let it destroy itself.

This is the lead up to his death. It's very significant to me. I never got to share the Earth with him. So I get sad and inspired at the same time. And I know that is what he would have wanted to come from his untimely finish.
