What can I suggest to my stylist next time they bleach my roots?
I was previously getting my hair done and a vivid specialist salon but I never liked my service there so I’m now getting my hair bleached at a local salon/barber and colouring at home.
This is how my first time getting bleached at the new salon looks. Last pic is how the bleach turned out at the vivid salon. I know what bleach the vivid salon used and my new stylist was able to use the exact same kind when they did my hair (O&M Super Nine + 6%). I don’t think bleaching is something this stylist would be doing a lot of in this salon.
As you can see there’s some banding and it’s not quite as light as I need it. Did it just need to left on longer or something? My purple hair also turned blue near my roots which is something that never happened at the vivid salon. I’m hoping to have less regrowth next time I get it done too.
