Does anyone here work, study, or have any connection to the oil industry? My university curriculum has many geophysics subjects, and I'm researching the field. The salaries seem quite attractive; however, where I live is very far from the coast, where the greatest concentration of Brazilian exploration occurs and, consequently, where more opportunities are found.

I would like to know about the experience of physicists or geophysicists who work in this area.
