I've been a loyal Evoride Speed runner for a while now, and was thus bummed to discover that ASICS has discontinued the model. I'm wary of the carbon plate in the Magic Speed, which seems to be the model that ASICS is nudging me toward. And I'm worried that the Novablast 5 will be too cushiony and unwieldy for my taste.

Can anyone recommend a good Evoride Speed alternative? I've been looking at the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5, but I'm open to whatever. I'm a forefoot striker who's 6'1" and 160 pounds, and I typically log about 35 miles per week at a 7:45 pace. I'm aiming to run a fast half-marathon (1:32?) in September, and maybe a fast 5k (20:30?) before then. But I also do plenty of leisurely runs, too.
