First pic is after and the second pic is before.

Theres this dry patch of skin on the back of my neck. Any idea what this is and how to treat it? I have no history of eczema or dry skin.

I haven’t tried any remedies so far. I also have been wearing add on ponytails for the past few weeks. The patch has gone from white to a dark brown. It’s also rough when I touch it.
