Pomona vs Yale
Now time has come for the painful decision of Pomona vs Yale. (The most first world problem of all problems I know)
I am a non traditional student, interested in going to law school after undergrad and eventually getting involved in Politics. I am from the midwest so neither are close to home, so that factor doesn’t really matter, and both are giving me similar aid. I have already visited Pomona and loved it, but I cant help but wonder about life at Yale.
Hoping to get some insight from current or past students, also anyone that has been in a similar boat. Most people I am talking to look at me like I’m crazy for not immediately choosing Yale, but I also think most people in the Midwest don’t really quite understand what Pomona is.

Taking into account this, and talking to friends and family, as well as some internal reflection, I am going to pick Yale. As much as I love Pomona, a full ride at Yale is something I cannot let myself pass up. Thanks again to everyone, it is a testament to how wonderful the Pomona community is that so many were willing to help a random person make what feels like the most important decision of their life.
