I’ll just provide a couple comments there has already been a lot of discussion.
The sound during Plasma and Pillow Jets was like nothing I have ever experienced. I cannot even say I enjoyed it in the moment but the band absolutely used that venue to create an immersive experience that don’t think can be recreated anywhere else. That was my peak evil Phish experience. They made a venue that so often puts you in space or on a mountain, seem so small. The music was bouncing around like a jungle woke up.
The encores from this weekend were simply pure joy. Coil with the band walking off stage leaving Page-to me symbolizing what we all understand at some point this movie will all be over. Had me deep in the feels.
The evil second set closing and leading to an encore with I didn’t know had us all laughing to tears with fishman swinging out the vacuum. It was absolute perfection after the whirlwind roller coaster ride we took in the second set.
The velvet sea has been discussed, we are all in this together!
