Y’all gotta relax at shows with the phones and social media
Not going to name any names, but this isn’t a fucking justin beiber concert. Don’t go to shows and make people film you dancing. My favorite part of the scene is that people are living in the moment and not glued to their phones. Having phish “influencers” effectively kills this part of the scene. I love phish shows very much but don’t act like this is coachella. End rant.

To the jerks from Westchester in section 106 Friday night who bullied me
Thank you for making me cry in my expensive seats at the sphere during the last 30 mins of set 1 after the woman next to me accused me out of no where of trying to sleep with the dudes she was with. Tapped me on the shoulder while I’m raging to say “I know all these dudes from home, they’re all married, so don’t fuck around”. I said “I have no idea what you’re talking about” and she said “I heard something happened while I was getting a drink, don’t fuck around, support women, okay?” I said again, “what are you talking about??!” And she just repeated herself, “just support women.” She was so aggressive. Between songs I said to her “I don’t know what you’re talking about, I don’t know what I’m apologizing for but I’m sorry” and she blew me off.
The wind was completely out of my sail and I was trying to have a good time and crying behind my sunglasses. My friend was in the bathroom when this happened so she didn’t witness it and I didn’t want to tell her to ruin her set.
15 minutes later, the woman says to me, “they were fucking with me!” I pull up my sunglasses so they can all see I’m crying and I said that was SO fucked up what you guys did to me and she said “look, she’s crying! Now I feel bad.” I gave her the hand and said don’t talk to me, left immediately at setbreak to cry to some friends and turned it around for second set. Kuroda literally fixed me.
We came back right as set 2 was starting, my friend stood between me and the woman. During second set, the woman was chomping, sitting, looking generally miserable and left at the start of CARINI ENCORE. I was hoping to tell them all to go fuck themselves, but none of them tried to apologize during second set or on the way out. Would have also have loved to tell them I didn’t want to sleep with any of those losers.
The guys on the way out said “have a great night and stay safe” - mind you one of them was touching me and my friends hips everyone he had to leave to go to the bathroom. They also kicked over my friends full cocktail and didn’t apologize or offer to buy a new one.
Me and my friend were told by multiple people how awesome our energy was all weekend by people around us.
So, to the Westchester crew in 106, the best seats in the house that I paid a lot of money for, thanks for making me cry at the sphere and making me feel incredibly small. Go fuck yourselves. “Support women” my ass - hope none of you guys have daughters that this happens to in the future.

I bought the piano from Mondegreen for my music room!

The is in reply to the above post from several months ago asking what happened to the Mondegreen piano. Back in January, it went up for sale in Burlington, Vermont on FB Marketplace and I messaged the seller offering full price if he could hold it for me until the end of the week. I was the first person that messaged him out of many and he made good on his offer. I then enlisted the help of some local piano movers to make the 2.5 hour each way drive to move the piano for me.
I attended Mondegreen and remembered that this piano was situated inside the Skinny Pancake food court area for fans to play as part of the festival.
From what I understand, the piano was originally designed to be part of the Curveball festival, but due to cancellation, the Skinny Pancake ended up holding onto it and bringing it back for use at Mondegreen. They then brought it back to Burlington after that.
I purchased the piano from a friend of the Skinny Pancake owner who was clearing out his warehouse to increase low income housing in Burlington. It now lives in my music room and I even hired a piano tuner to bring it back to its former glory, which it desperately needed after being moved around so much.
It now plays wonderfully and I use it often. I don’t own many collectibles and I feel very lucky to have a piece of Phish history that I actually use and enjoy!
Any additional info about the piano would be greatly appreciated, if anyone knows anything about it.

Let me just say WOW!
To start I had never been to a Phish show or to the sphere or really ever listened to much Phish definitely a bit though.
A buddy and I last minute decided to drive down from Utah and see if we could go and get a miracle and if we didn’t so what we’d still pay for a ticket that we could find last minute! (Mind you we’re both in our mid 20s and love the rock and roll our parents showed us)
Well we parked and within 25 mins a man named wade miracled into the show and then disappeared and told us to have a night!
We were higher then kites and were I’d say “adopted by” these 2 couples behind us in the 406 area. They were passing us candy, pens and plenty of love they seemed to love to watch us!
The crowd the fans, the music, the visuals, everything made us phish fans. No phones in sight just people enjoying harmony!
Phish rocks, the people are cool as fuck! Rock on! Thank you.

Just don’t get the Sphere
Is it just me? Phish doesn’t need the Sphere. The whole magic of the band is the real-time interplay—music and lights reacting together. At the Sphere, it feels flipped. The visuals are pre-built, the band is improvising, and the two don’t actually connect. Half the time I just want to close my eyes and listen, which kind of tells you everything.

Tell me it’s not just me - 4/17/26 Night2
I’ve been seeing phish for over 15 years; 2 festivals, many venues- I saw the sphere 2 years ago and we were here last night- I’m not exactly a phish virgin…
But last night, especially set 2, blew my mind. Divided Sky in set 1 was amazing.. and then set II they dialed it up another notch. Like, the jam got so freaking weird and the visuals seemed like they were just right on point- then we get to this beautiful valley for Hydrogen before blasting us into weekapaug groove….
I’m thoroughly convinced that set II last night melted our collective brains. And how do I know? I want to go back now and listening to the recording, but after they finished the set we cheered and we caught our breath, but when they came back for the encore, there wasn’t much cheering at all. Yeah of course there were a few shouts here and there- but it was relatively eerily silent. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that at a phish show. There was something in the air. It’s like we were all completely spent of energy, and needed some Trey story time- and boy did he deliver! Debut of Brief Time was like shooting love daggers to pierce the soul…. Then to just melt our brains again with that Carini!
What do you all think? Was that a show or what?
