Hi! I live in zone 7a/7b and am transplanting this eastern redbud (around 12ft tall). I’m well aware transplanting Cercis c. is risky but it wasn’t my decision, so now I’m trying to ensure I protect her as much as possible!!

Is pruning recommending in the first year of transplanting before the tree establishes itself? I don’t want to add more stress to it. I can upload more pics if needed

If you have any other species specific recommendations for me, I would be grateful. Thank you everyone
