My dentist wants to remove 37 and 38 teeth. On my lower jaw left side I have an impacted wisdom tooth. The dentist said that he has to remove the one next to it because it would be easier to access the impacted wisdom tooth and reduce nerve damage . I’m 25 years old . They did a sort of 3D xray and they came to this conclusion. I’m asking is this common practice, I’ve been researching online and the dentist didn’t even bring up removal of the crown as an option.
