Why do an early US??
Hi Everyone!
I’m wondering if I should even do any ultrasounds through my fertility clinic (7weeks is what I’m scheduled for) or should I just wait until I can get in with my primary at 8+ weeks?
I get that - goodness forbid I have an MMC - we can address that sooner rather than later, or hopefully I get good news that everything’s going well sooner.
But it’s not like an earlier US will show an issue that they can “fix”, right? (I’m already on PDG and blood thinner) - what’s the benefit of an US before 8wks?
I do NOT like the lady that does USs at my clinic (she’s generally kind but makes me uncomfortable -I’m a person of color and she’s said some racialized things to me). I realized I have anxiety about experiencing that big moment with her no matter which way it turns.
Anyone else opted NOT to do an early US?
