Whats the reason behind it ? Just curious...

Hey hey, i have a little phaleanopsis Mini Mark. The top roots are brown, but still firm and Green inside (i cut one Open), its growing a new leave and the soil and the Air root are perfectly healthy .. so i am not really concerned. Any idea what that could be ? Just old, dry roots ? Too much fertilizer ? I fertilizer every week, but pretty low with around 250-300 mS, but even my bulbophyllum is not overfertilized and is Shooting Out 2 blooms, while being way more sensitive then phalaenopsis

My take would be just old roots, i just have never seen it before :D

(Yes i know she is dusty :D)

How to know If my plant is poached ?

Hello, i just red the Rules of the sub and then it came to my mind how to know If a plant is poached ? i bought this stephania from a private collector in my home town, she wasnt a commerical seller, but because i wasnt aware at the time of the poaching problems i didnt ask her about the origin of the plant. So can it be Said by any means If the plant is seed grown or poached ? Or just impossible to say ?
