Sneaky hello from squirt the turtle at the end of video

Sorry the random dog crunching sounds in the background, I have 5 mystery snails in my tank and in the last 3 days 3 of them have taken a ride on the back of this one. Are they trying to mate somehow or are they all trying to snack on him? Is there anything I can do besides separate it to a different tank?
