I've been WFH for a while now, and I was tired of dealing with crappy chair after crappy chair. Being 6'5" it's really difficult to find a comfortable chair, but luckily I have an HM dealer right in my town, and after trying a whole bunch of different chairs in the showroom, they let me take a loaner Embody home for a few days a couple months back. I tried the standard Embody, as well as the Gaming Embody, and found the standard to be much more comfortable at least in the limited time I had with them. I was immediately in love and ordered this one.
I've been using it for a week now, and man... I can't describe how much better I feel at the end of a long day.
I'd also seen other owners talking about how the chair can be a bit firm, and especially for the first couple of days that was true, it's not as plush initially as something with thick cushions, but one week in, and it's really softened up quite a lot, and feels much more plush. It's really the perfect chair (for me) at least.
The colorway I went with looks sooooo good in person, way better than online using the configurator.
My employer has a deal with HM, so my employee discount made it 55% off retail, so I think after tax and everything, I was out the door for $1,300 or so.
