Hen or Roo

This is my 13 week old Speckled Sussex, Phoebe. Her comb and waddle are not red yet, which makes me say hen, but does she have saddle feathers coming in? I have the opportunity to take her back to the feed store and exchange her for a pullet (not necessarily the same breed), but they will only do the exchange up to about 3 months, so I need to decide now. She’s super friendly and I hate to part with her, but we don’t want another rooster. I could also wait to let her grow out more and see, but if she is a rooster we will be left trying to rehome her and exchanging her won’t be an option.

Hi All, I have a light Brahma rooster that’s a little over a year old. He is with 19 hens, and several have developed bald spots on their backs from him over-mating them. I put saddles on a few of them, but it’s now around 8 of them, and I’m wondering if it’s fair to keep him with the hens since he’s hard on them. I don’t think he hurts them, but the feather loss can’t be comfortable, and I don’t want to have to saddle all of my girls. What would you do in this situation? He’s a generally really docile rooster, but today he rushed at me which definitely took me by surprise. Is this normal rooster stuff that everyone deals with or should I look for another home for him?
