My dentist said the cavity in this tooth (one marked with an x in the image) was quite deep. He filled it, but over the weekend I had random sharp zingers and went back. He removed the filling and liner, placed a sedative dressing, and put a temporary filling in it. The zingers are gone, but it's been almost two weeks and I still have a mild to low pain and constant throbbing. Now there's a sore bump on my gum below that same tooth. Should I be worried? He told me I should come back in the next 6-8 weeks.
