I’m trying to install a floor guide for my closet sliding doors (bypass style, two panels), but I have a floating LVP floor throughout the room. Since it has a vapor barrier, and screwing into LVP is discouraged because it needs to contract and expand, what can I do in this case? Should I just cut the vapor barrier and screw the guide directly into the concrete slab? And if so, what do I do with the cut plastic? Should I put a raiser between the rail and the floor? Thank you
