I have, or at least had, an account with AT&T, and I liked staying with them. However, over the past couple of months, my app has been really buggy. I think it might be due to an update or something—I’m not sure.

I paid my phone bill like normal, around $140. But about a month later, the amount had doubled, which confused me. I couldn’t immediately pay the $300-ish balance, so I planned to wait a couple of days until payday. Then the balance jumped to $500.

I was going to save up to pay it, but by the time I checked again, the total had increased to the full cost of my phone and iPad, which is $2,636. I honestly don’t know what to say—I can’t afford that.

When I explained my situation to the agents, they told me the only option was to pay it within the 59 days before it goes to collections. I’m not in a good place financially right now, so if anyone has tips or advice, please let me know. And please don’t say I’m stupid—I get that enough already from pcmasterrace.
