I got my hair done today and I’m kind of spiralling 😭
The first photo is what I wanted, the second one is what my hair looked like before the appt, and the rest are the results from my appt (she did my roots and a balayage + a toner- Including the cut/wash/style it costed $400 and it’s like there are no highlights at all)
I asked for a cool/ashy dimensional mushroom brunette with soft highlights, but right now it feels SO much darker than I expected and almost looks black indoors. My hair tends to grab toner really intensely, especially when it’s freshly done.
For people who’ve had this happen:
did your highlights start showing more after a few washes?
did the toner fade pretty noticeably?
did clarifying shampoo help at all?
Trying not to panic after spending $$$ on it lol because I know fresh toner can settle down, but I’d love reassurance from people who’ve been through the same thing.
