Cronos the new dawn is essentially what would have happened had frodo kept the ring into the modern day

Think about it: the warden is likely saruman or gandalf, The traveler could either be aragorn or samwise who is fighting through the remnants of the rings transformative aftermath and picking up essences of people that either lived through it or have gone insane because of it. The meat Moss is essentially the rings corruption made manifest, signifying the horrific transformation from simple City to hellscape.

That's my speculation anyway. You can even make the case that Gabriel is gollum in a way.

The only difference is that there's no happy ending to the story.

Too long didn't read: the new dawn is a what if scenario where frodo kept the ring instead of destroying it

[WP] your wife tells you that she's going to work. over the next few months, reports start cropping up that people are being found dead, their bodies mangled. oddly there's also no mirrors in your house. What do you do with the knowledge that your wife may be a skin wolf? Horror only

would you move to a neighborhood where everyone is a monster in exchange for a better quality of life?

Your current job pays little, you have no dental and the roof leaks. then you get a flyer for Golden Leaf homes. it's nestled in a nice mountain region, no pollution and the house is only $99.

in addition you get free healthcare, minimal taxes, vacation time doubled etc. you just need to ignore the screams at night, stay indoors when lockdown starts and never go outside between the hours of 10 PM and 12:56 PM. the military patrols to keep people safe. The residents can't control themselves at night. they have to chain themselves up. keep in mind this is only one day out of the week so if it started on a Tuesday on the 7th of March then the next lockdown will be Wednesday the 14th. you will be notified when you need to go inside. a soldier will appear at your front door and lock it

Door dash is free, cable is paid for, you can buy anything for cheap and have a weapons locker in case lockdown is breached (but all monster residents try their best to stay away from you, because they want you to feel welcome, you can even volunteer to be turned and intermarry if you want.

I lived in a house with a dead body in the basement from 1972 during which i was unaware of the murder. has anyone experienced anything like this?

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/720-W-Flora-St-Stockton-CA-95203/15325062_zpid/

The Incident: In November 1972, police investigating a separate homicide discovered the body of 19-year-old Lauren Willett buried in the basement of this house. The Connection: The house was occupied by individuals with links to the Manson Family, including Nancy Pitman and Michael Monfort. The Details: Lauren Willett had been shot in the head. Her husband, James Willett, was found murdered shortly before her body was discovered. Taxidermy: Reports indicate the house and its detached garage had a strange, cult-like atmosphere, with reports mentioning a taxidermied goat's head in the rafters.

I always thought there were spiders down there, I never knew we lived in a house of horrors.

We had to leave due to rats.

anyone else have any experiences like this? I loved that house btw. Backyard needed work but I genuinely liked it. Dear Christ

you are immune to any damage as long as you are in severe pain and can increase your strength by injuring yourself worse.

you can tank anything up to a nuke but will always be in excruciating pain. the more damage you do to your body, the stronger you become. a simple lego is a small boost but throwing yourself into a woodchipper makes you able to pick up slabs of concrete. running over your foot results in bench pressing trains as weights.

when I say pain, keep in mind that I mean full contact with the nerve layer when walking.

Medication of any kind automatically nullifies the power. you will be vulnerable for 24 hours.

however, you cannot get drunk. at best you can get sort of drunk but never wasted

Ever, includes government and utilities. Somebody else will take on all your debts, somebody who has endless amounts of money

You are currently living in poverty. You have just enough money to keep a roof over your head. You are also severely overweight.

The weight loss injection will cause most of your weight to vanish. You will gain a beautiful body but you will not be able to walk without pain for 6 months. Biofreeze however is free and you have instant access to top of the line healthcare. The reason for this pain is that the the injection is directly on the nerve layer. After the anesthetic wears off, the moment you try to move, it will be excruciating. you have two options:

You can either submerge yourself in an ice bath every morning. This will Short circuit the pain for one day only

The other option is a biofreeze foam layer on your nerves. This will buy you a week after which it will dissipate. However this is an expensive surgery. You will have to go back at the end of every week.

That's all you have to do, and you never do it again

If you don't take it then you will not get a second chance. Your debts will continue to grow. Whatever methods you try to use to lesson the debt will only work once.

you were born into supervillainy with a awesome yet problematic power: you can open any locked door with ease with your bones being broken as payment

no matter the door, it will open. your finger or a random bone will automatically break afterwards. it will heal instantly after the door shuts. the tougher the lock on the door, the more painful the breaking of your finger or bone will be. the pain won't be the same twice. you could be hit with a sledgehammer, ran over, crushed with a rock etc.

still, the key to fort knox is tempting

(haven't posted for a while, please don't be too harsh)

The chief has no idea how a two story building burnt down with everyone inside it nor why it smells like bleach and misery.

the professor steps up and explains the reason:

" we were in the middle of woodworking class. unfortunately, some of the class decided it would be funny to bring drugs"

The chief is confused

"what do drugs have to do with this story?"

The professor continues:

" well, the power went out but two of the boys, now high on weed thought that they could use what they learned from scout camp to make a fire. I don't think the scoutmaster ever told them that it's sticks not dicks. unfortunately the door was "stuck". Oak wood takes a while to burn, that's why i'm here alive"

The chief speaks

"ok, but how did the others die?"

The professor speaks

"Purple kush...the poor fuckers"

The chief put in his resignation the next day

First off this is a direct video release so it may not be that well known. The werewolf in the movie turns out to be the doctor. The doctor broke through the cabin and killed the old couple (notice the scratch on the door when she first arrives at the cabin). It then got sister Ruths scent. This explains why she's scared and out of her wits in the flashback. She knows that if she steps outside, it will kill her but there is almost no food in the convent that can satiate her (fear does crazy things to your metabolism) So she decides to stop eating. After all how would you feel if somebody noticed you noticed where you now live and renders you unable to leave? Now imagine them nigh unkillable.

So now you know
