Hello,
So I’ve moved back home to the Jackson metro area, been here since last Fall, and it was mainly for better job opportunities in my field after graduate school. I’m currently living with my family in Madison for the time being. I’m actually from and grew up here but am looking to make new connections/friends as many of my close friends from college either live in South MS or are moving out of the state unfortunately. Been feeling a bit lonely and isolated. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I’m 26M, as far as interests/hobbies, I’m into gaming, anime, Magic The Gathering, Pokemon, sci-fi novels, DnD, basically any nerdy/geek interest or hobby I’m probably into lol I’m also autistic, which may not be important to some, but it definitely has impacted my social life to an extent, and have my own challenges with some of my disabilities.
Anyway, I’m only able to do things on the weekends for the time being because I work in mental healthcare and work evening shifts during the week. Any suggestions for any places or events to meet others would be nice, I already have started trying to go to Van’s CCG, but only once last weekend. Thank you in advance!
