Problem/Goal:
My relative's pet cat died today. And I was really affected by it that I couldn't even work. How do I cope with this?
Context:
My relative's pet cat died today. Heck, it was not even mine to begin with but I shared quite some time with that cat so especially seeing him in that state made me... idk, depressed. I think I just have a very soft spot for pet animals as I also have my own and I think that made me sadder and anxious that one day my own pet would eventually suffer the same fate. He's a really sweet cat and I know it was hard for everyone. I just wish his life was longer and I would've showered him more with pets and cuddles if I knew he would leave us so soon.
