Cost of attendance

Hello guys! I got my financial aid offer 2 days ago from long beach and looking at this net price/cost is worrying me a lot. It is a lot to pay for especially for csulb, i thought i wouldve gotten more aid. Realistically is this how much i’m gonna need to pay out of pocket a year? (this is how much the net cost is if i live on campus) And I was wondering if a 1.5hr commute everyday to long beach is worth it to lower the cost.

Good morning everyone,

I’m cutting it close to the May 1st deadline. UC Merced offered me a good financial aid package that covers my tuition and other expenses except for housing which is 15k a year. I visited long beach and fell in love with the campus despite the construction. I would love to go there but the financial aid office has yet to send me my financial aid package. Has anyone had the dilemma of choosing between the two? its mostly because of the financials for me. Any cc route recommendations too?
