Review: AP Batch LP Tennis Walk Sneakers From Koala (In Hand)
Just got my LP Tennis Walks from AP and wanted to share. I was looking for a clean everyday shoe with minimal branding that works with everything and these pretty much check that box. Did a bunch of research and most people pointed toward AP so decided to go with them.
- Vendor: Koala
- Factory: AP Batch
- Price: ¥760 each (~$125 USD)
- Fulfillment Timeline: 13 days from Koala to agent
Item 1: LP Tennis Walk Cervo White Leather Sneakers - Size 41 EU (8.5-9 US)
Item 2: LP Tennis Walk Suede Sneakers Warm Gray (Brown) - Size 41 EU (8.5-9 US)
Review:
- Overall Experience: Easy process. No stock issues, no back-and-forth. Everything moved clean through agent
- Fit: Ordered 41 EU - Fit TTS. Insole measured ~27.5 cm.
- Shape: This is the main thing with these and honestly they did a really good job. Slim, low profile, no chunky toe box or weird shape. On foot they look very close to retail.
- Material:
- White (Leather): Good, but slightly more grainy vs retail’s smoother finish. Still soft and wearable, just less refined up close.
- Warm Gray (Suede): Suede is soft with good movement and depth—slightly less premium looking than retail but still looks good.
- Stamping / Details:
- Sole: AP batch has mirrored bottom soles, retail uses the same pattern direction on both...minor detail but a known flaw (was supposedly fixed, but clearly not)
- Heel embossing is a bit softer / less crisp vs retail (especially on the white pair since its stamped onto the suede)
- Packaging: Removed boxes to save on shipping. QC looked fine, not important
- Overall: Strong for the price. Not 1:1, but gets the main features pretty close. The shape, proportions, and overall look. Passes easily on-foot.
