Before I begin this review, I'd like to say that, in my opinion, the beauty of the Replica Gats is in the worn-in look they develop over time and let's say l've treated these pretty roughly to achieve that effect as quickly as possible.

Despite that, they held up very well, and the leather developed the natural creases I was aiming for and now they look very good imo

The leather is amazing. It's full-grain cowhide, according to MVT they source it from the same suppliers as adidas (for those who don't know, full-grain is the highest grade of leather)

These are from the batch before it was updated, I think they were updated right after I bought them.

Tbh, I don't really care because the differences are just in the height of the back and the presence of the NFC tag on the sole, nothing major.

One thing worth noting is that the laces got stained right away. I don't mind but if this bothers you, MVT guarantees its customers a free replacement to ensure a longer lifespan for its products (according to his yupoo gats album)

Found these pairs on tt, haven’t seen them from any seller. Is anyone familiar with the person who sells them? I think they are a fantasy pair too but I’m not sure tbh

OK so I was a bit nervous ordering these but wow.

The leather is genuinely really nice, soft right away, no need to wear them in. In person they look even better than the pictures, the cream with the black stripe and that gum sole just works so well together.

The little details are what got me though. Dior embossed on the sole, on the tongue, on the insole... you can tell proper attention went into these. And they even threw in extra laces in a little branded Dior drawstring bag, plus a shopping bag. Honestly these are the kind of small touches you don't expect but they just make the whole thing feel premium.

Packaging came perfect too, full box, dust bag, everything.

Sizing tip though because this caught me off guard. I'm a 42 and they were a bit roomy on me. Honestly I'd go 41 or 41.5 if you're on the fence. Nothing that ruined the experience but wish I knew beforehand.

Super happy overall. Fast delivery and exactly what I expected from Koala.

They look good to me aside from the ‘ZEGNA’ on the tongue where the ‘G’ looks smaller than the rest - although probably not noticeable IRL

What do we think? Rl or GL?
