I just finished my 10th week on 2.5 and down 18 pounds. Some days it feels like the drug is not working because of some returning food noise and particular cravings but I am trusting the process and continuing on the 2.5 as long as I can. The day before my shot I can feel some cravings coming back and I feel like I could snack all day.

I don't track calories or macros as that triggers some food control issues for me so I try to get in as much protein and fibre and I can in a day. I find this drug "makes" you make better food choices instead of reaching for the junk food. When I do eat higher fat, processed food I get stomach aches and feel terrible, almost like a hangover.

I get in 3 resistance training classes a week and mix in some pilates, walking, pickleball etc. Some days are harder than others to do this but I try!

The nausea and upset stomach subsided around week 4 but I still have bowels issues that I am trying to address with more fibre and water. Some of my joint pain has subsided and my mood seems elevated.

I am paying out of pocket so now I am using a 5mg pen and counting clicks (shout out to all those that posted the charts demonstrating how to do this! This group is great and I learn so much from you all).

All that is to say that it has been an interesting 10 weeks and I don't regret starting this journey. If you are on the fence or just starting trust the process and go as slow as you need to go to make the weight loss sustainable and easier on your body... cheers and happy Sunday.
