Which entry-level engineering roles make sense for someone transitioning from software to electronics?

I have a Bachelor’s and MSc in Electronic Engineering, but for the past 3 years I’ve worked as a software developer because there were almost no opportunities in electronics in my home country. I recently moved to Germany, my degrees have been recognized by ZAB, and I’m currently waiting for the official engineer title recognition.I’d like to move into electronics/electrical engineering, even though I don’t yet have direct engineering work experience. My German is still improving, but I’m attending an intensive course and aiming for B2 by the end of the year. From an engineering career perspective, what kinds of entry roles would make the most sense for someone with my background? For example: testing, validation, embedded systems, technical support, field service, hardware-related QA, junior design roles, or something else?

Looking for advice on starting an electronics/electrical engineering career in Germany

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on how to break into the electronics/electrical engineering field in Germany.I have a Bachelor’s and an MSc in Electronic Engineering, and I moved to Germany on the Chancenkarte. My degrees have already been recognized by ZAB, and I’m currently waiting for the official recognition of the engineer title from the German authorities. The difficult part is that I do not have direct work experience as an engineer yet. For the past 3 years I’ve been working as a software developer, mainly because in my home country there were very few opportunities in electronics. That is also one of the main reasons why I decided to move to Germany and try to build my career here in the field I actually studied.I currently live near Düsseldorf, but I’m open to relocating. My German is still a work in progress, and I’m attending an intensive VHS course with the goal of reaching B2 by the end of the year. I also speak English at C1 level and Italian at C1 level. If anyone can suggest companies, roles, or even a way to get my foot in the door, I’d really appreciate it. I’m open to starting as an intern, junior, trainee, or even in a helper/support role if it gives me the chance to enter the field and grow from there.
