Magna-doodle like toy

Trying to find details of a toy I had in the 90s.

It was like a magna doodle but if I remember correctly the plastic border was heavier duty and black. I might also be remembering this part wrong but one side was a blank rectangle and the other had a cut out to draw on that looked like a head...so a bit odd that I remember it being two sided. No it's not a wooly willy...you drew on it with a stylus similar to a magna doodle. I don't remember how you erased on it.

Discovering music

I am curious if I am alone or if anybody else does this...

I love my vinyl collection and listen to it whenever I can but I am also a huge Spotify user and love it for discovering new music. But there are times where I will find a band I like on Spotify and then will almost intentionally avoid listening to their backlog of music any more because I want to experience the discovery on vinyl. I don't necessarily do this with all artists but probably those that I find a stronger connection with and feel like there is a strong likelihood I will like the rest of their music too.

Example for me recently, I was on a large Cat Steven's kick and obtained a lot of his records. Listened to my new vinyl whenever I could but also listened a lot on Spotify when I couldn't. Spotify led me from Cat to Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young and I felt similar with what I was hearing and stopped myself from listening on Spotify so I could enjoy 'discovering' it more on vinyl.
