saw someone else do this... i just moved from london for work and would love to get to know some people here, reddit honestly seemed like the most chill place to look.

context: 32M, half-british half-japanese, single apartment. university (mis)educated. now (finally) got a decent government job which is technical adjacent but probably not in the way you'd guess...

hobbies/interests:

• internet culture, podcasts, comedy
• teaching (philosophy/theory)
• freelance journalism
• DJ/production (ableton)
• anime aesthetics
• graphic design (mostly music posters in photoshop/premiere and more recently blender)
• any music, esp Chicago footwork
• NOT fine art (used to work for Christie's, it's a scam..)
• have spent time in US (study & work)
• talking about class

hope i haven't come accross as a deeply annoying person. i still sometimes go to london on weekends sometimes but keen to explore bristol and the wider area too
