Best decision I’ve ever made for myself. Prior to this- I had worked so hard for years to get in shape (290->200), only to be left with a terrible neck/jawline that I was self conscious about.

The MD is Dr. Berardi- Scottsdale AZ. He does amazing and appropriate work. Initially I had no intention of a chin implant, but he explained facial proportions etc and made the right move.

I’ve been taking Tirz for about 3 months and have lost ~20 lbs.

I use an Inbody Smart scale. Anyone who uses these knows that body water/glycogen plays a big part in how it reads SMM/lean mass and BF%.

Generally, it seems to think I continue to lose alot of SMM/lean mass- but I know that can’t be the case. I resistance train and track my protein intake. My strength hasn’t decreased a ton, maybe a bit but expected with weight loss.

Seems like either A) I need to eat a ton more carbohydrates to keep my glycogen stores and lean mass reflected appropriately on body composition measurements - OR B) just ignore the BF% and SMM readings..

Anyone else notice it’s difficult to maintain glycogen and accurate body composition measurements? It’s disheartening because it makes me think I’m just getting skinny fat…
