Trying something new in Sheffield. Would people actually use this?
Hi everyone,
I’m a developer based near Sheffield and I’ve been building a small app called ZI-VO to test an idea around helping local businesses reach people in a less annoying way.
The idea is pretty simple:
Local businesses upload short content or offers themselves, and users occasionally receive one nearby based on location. If they choose to watch it, they answer one quick multiple choice question and, if correct, receive a code to claim a reward from that business such as a discount or free item.
It is not a scrolling or social media app. You only open it when something is assigned to you, and you can completely ignore it if it is not relevant to you.
I’ll start adding content from local businesses from Monday 1st June, so at the moment I’m mainly trying to figure out whether this is something people would genuinely use or whether people would simply ignore it.
Would something like this interest you if the rewards were decent?
Any honest feedback would genuinely help a lot 🙏
