I was bored beige couch and environment, tried adding some spice. What do you thing was this a good decision?

I was bored on white/beige interior, thought adding some spice to my living room. Did i do the right thing?

Finished up a kitchen remodel on our home. Here are the finished pics. Before we just light brown cabinets. How do i change the flooring?
