Is there a dating app that let me connect to my crush in real life? 😂

I have a crush in my office and we make eye contacts, I think she is into me but I'm not sure, is there any easy way to find out?

When I was a student at Indian Institute of Science, I always wished there was a dating app that helped you connect with someone you already liked in real life — classmates, someone you kept noticing on campus, at a café, at work, etc.

Just a simple way to know if the feeling is mutual.

So I spent the last year building it.

One thing I cared a lot about was privacy and comfort, especially for women.

Here’s how it works:

  • You’re only visible to people you’ve shown interest in
  • If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can instantly block them
  • There’s also a “Visitor Mode” setting that gives you more control over who can discover you

For guys:
If you don’t see someone on the app, it probably means they haven’t shown interest yet, and that’s okay.

I’m genuinely looking for feedback right now:

  • Would you try something like this?
  • Does the idea make sense?
  • What would stop you from using it?

it's called timeline.net.in
